U-Blocks

Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) U-blocks provide stay-in-place formwork for reinforced concrete beams, lintels and columns. Different widths allow the units to match the blocks used in the surrounding walls.

Applications

SOLBET U-blocks form permanent formwork for reinforced concrete beams, lintels and columns. The available widths allow them to be matched to the blocks used to construct the walls.

Reinforcement is installed inside the units, together with thermal insulation where required, for example in a single-layer wall. The units are then filled with concrete. Temporary support is required while the concrete sets.
